Round 2 with Coach Daddy

Round 1 of golf lesson with Coach Daddy

Okay...so as most of you know, if not everyone, Jason LOVES golf and not to boast about my hubby but he is a great player as well. And before we had kids he said he wanted his kids to golf...ONLY if they wanted to of course. But with Hailey it has been the case so far. Jason got her a little golf club about 6 months ago and she has been doing really good with it and actually hits the ball. She doesn't grab the club correctly but who cares, she still hits the ball (there is supposed to be a correct way of holding it but as long as it goes...it doesn't matter how-my philosophy of course, not coach daddys). EVERYDAY when Jason walks in through the door, no matter what Hailey is doing, she stops and grabs her daddy's hand and says "bye-bye." That means, lets go outside to the front yard and hit balls. Jason does it too. We have a huge empty lot behind our house, so Jason will hit balls from the side of our house into the empty lot. Thats HIS driving range he calls it. They both will have their special time for about an hour until I ruin it with dinner time. Its neat to see her grow and have interests, although this may just be a "in the moment" thing. Either way I know her daddy enjoys it and likes to brag. He is the one who took the little video's and posted them. He ADORES his little "bo" as he calls her and she loves him too. Its their special bond!

Life is a beach

We decided to head to the beach and enjoy the nice weather at Corona Del Mar with our good friends Ed and Julie and their three kids. The weather was gorgeous and perfect. I wish we could wake up every day to the smell, sound and beautiful view. Its great to see Hailey enjoy it more as she gets older. Needless to say we had a great time and think we will be spending more time at the beach this year.
