The Los Angeles Zoo
So if I could tell you what Hailey would be when she grew up it would be a dancer/veterinarian. I know it's a weird combination but she will dance if you tell her "baila" or if any song with a good beat comes on. And she loves animals, especially dogs. She has no fear of them, any dog, big or small. So needless to say she loved the zoo! Everytime we went to a specific animal she would scream as if that was the only animal in the whole place. We would have to reassure her that we were going to see another one and hurry to the next one (If any of you have been to the LA Zoo you know not every animal is close by...you have to walk). So her favorite one was the white goat behind the fence. I think that was her favorite because it was very upclose and she could almost touch it. She really cried when we left the goat. We really had a fun time and it was great to see Haileys face with each animal. I know you may say she is way too young to comprehend, and I agree to an extent, but kids are really smart and we seem to think she is smarter than any other kid of course. We leave you with some of the pictures we took. Jason's favorite animal was the Gorilla family and mine were the bears.

The Dinosaur Museum
We visited my parents in Utah for New Years. Since they moved we really don't get a chance to see them and its great for Hailey to be around them. She loves my brothers and sisters. Since it was REALLY cold when we were there we didn't have much to do. We went to a dinosaur museum which I thought was going to be too "big girl" for Hailey but she loved it. I think what Hailey really likes is being around people, she is just like her daddy! She was attached to my brother Josh who is holding her in one of the pictures. They had a place where the kids could play with sand and water and Hailey loved it. She loves water and enjoyed playing in it. It got hard holding her up but it was well worth it, to see a smile and contentment on her face makes everything worth it. I could never live in Utah but it was nice to visit and see my family. I miss them already!
